Dr John Crawford is Library Research Officer at Glasgow Caledonian University. He is chairman of the Library and Information History Group and a member of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals. He has completed both MA and Ph.D. level theses and a substantial number of articles mainly on Scottish library history.
