Crookston Mill

A postcard view of the mill and houses at Crookston on the banks of the White Cart Water. The mill (in the background) was built in 1748 and still in use in 1935. It was said to be the oldest water-wheel mill in Scotland, possessing a wheel 30 feet in diameter.
