Football coaching at council sports grounds. Sport for Life for You insisted in 1995 that quality coaching was the key to the fulfilment of sporting potential. Jordanhill College ran the National Coaching Foundation's Coach Education Programme to help to produce coaches to this end. Frank McGarvey, who played for a number of clubs including St Mirren, Liverpool and Celtic and was capped seven times for Scotland, is leading the group.
