Coloured cartoon from the Northern Looking Glass 18 August 1825, the sixth in the "Shipping News" series. Under the title "'Twas night" it depicts the scene below decks after dark. Some passengers have sleeping berths and two on the left are being violently sick. Others sleep as best they can, fully clothed, around the table.
