A watercolour showing the farm at Langside c 1830.
Langside Farm is depicted here surrounded by fields and gently rolling hills. A map of 1851 shows that the farm was situated below the village, on the slopes of Millbrae Hill. Another farm is visible in the distance to the right.
The painted is by an unknown artist working for the Maxwell family and is one of a series showing scenes on the Pollok Estate.
