Hugh Lamberton (1818-1888) was a confectioner and a councillor.
Lamberton was a senior partner in John Gray & Co, wholesale confectioners, and in 1875 The Bailie described him as “the principal confectioner in Glasgow.” He was a Liberal in his politics and a total abstainer.
