"Mister Peter Paterson Or, A Bailie In His Cups", a song preserved in a scrapbook entitled Old Glasgow Street Songs etc, 1850 which is held at the Mitchell Library.
This song is about a tipsy Bailie called Peter Paterson, who vehemently denies his wife's claims that he is "fu'", or drunk.
