The Logan Family

A famous publicity photograph of The Logan Family. Jimmy is seated at the piano and standing behind him (from left to right) are Bert, Ma, Pa, Buddy and Heather. Another sister, Annabelle, did not join the act - she went to the USA and, as Annie Ross, became a famous singer, songwriter and singer.

The Logan Family first played as an ensemble in the Summer Show of 1947 at the Metropole in Stockwell Street. Their act was well-received and they returned to perform in Summer Shows at the Metropole for the following six years.
