Skirl o' the Pipes

A poster advertising The Skirl o' the Pipes, 1966.

The Alexander Brothers topped the bill. Tom (the accordionist) and Jack Alexander were raised in Cambusnethan in Stirlingshire. They became major stars in the 1950s and 1960s, as regulars on the TV show The White Heather Club and recording stars with hits such as Nobody's Child. Grace Clark and Colin Murray were a popular double-act known as "Mr and Mrs Glasgow".
