Wardrake

Model of the Wardrake, a B Class War Standard Design Cargo Vessel built by D & W Henderson at their Meadowside Shipyard in Partick in 1918. She was camouflaged with "dazzle painting", and had a specially designed funnel that helped make smoke less visible to enemy ships. However, the Wardrake was launched too late in 1918 to see service during the First World War. After several changes of owners and name, she was scrapped in Tokyo in 1959.

This 1:48 scale model is in the collections of the Museum of Transport.
