A regulations card issued to tenants of tenement flats at 46 Eastercraigs in Dennistoun. There is no date attached, but the card was printed by Alexander Duncan & Son of 47 South Portland Place, an address occupied by the firm 1902-1930.
Tenants were required to take turns to clean the windows and the stairs leading down from their landing to the one below; to refrain from hanging clothes from their windows to dry; to show consideration for their neighbours and to maintain their houses and the building in a clean and tidy condition.
There is no indication of the identity of the authority issuing the card, but it was probably printed for a factor managing a privately-owned property.
