Inside pages of Private William Cullen's Boys' Brigade membership card, 91st Glasgow Company, 1914-1915.
Like all BB companies the 91st was connected with its local church, and the officers and boys met in the Gorbals Parish Church hall. The BB was famous for its martial trappings, adopting uniforms, marching bands and gymnastics, and drilling with replica rifles, in order to foster discipline and encourage the development of "true Christian Manliness" among its young members.
