Glasgow Central Mosque on Mosque Avenue off Gorbals Street, 2003.

Glasgow's first mosque was established in Oxford Street in 1944. This new building was designed by the Coleman Ballantyne Partnership and opened in 1986 on a 4-acres site previously occupied by the Adelphi Distillery.
