Hampden Park

Match day at Hampden Park. The stadium has been rebuilt since 1990 to transform a dilapidated Victorian football arena into a state-of-the-art sports venue with a capacity of 52,000.

The first phase of the renovation of Hampden began with the reconstruction of the North and East Stands, completed in 1994. The rebuilding of the South Stand and the redevelopment of the West Stand was completed in May 1999, followed by further redevelopment of the East Stand.

Hampden is Scotland's National Stadium, hosting Scotland international football matches, Scottish Cup Finals and other important football matches. It remains the home of Queen's Park FC but also plays host to American football matches and rugby matches. In recent years, international music stars such as Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart and Eminem have played there.
